Zillow is expanding its rental focus by acquiring HotPads, the Seattle-based online real estate company announced Monday.
HotPads, based in San Francisco, is a map-based rental and real estate search site. It has five mobile apps and drew nearly 2.8 million users in October, with rentals making up nearly 70 percent of the listings viewed.
