Unprecedented Growth in 2012 Attributed to Market Need for Effective Capture of Big Data and Customer Experience
Cloudmeter, a pioneer in the area of Big Data capture and analytics, today announced unprecedented growth in 2012 driven by demand for its data capture and processing and customer experience products. The privately-held company acquired a record number of new customers in industries including financial services, healthcare, e-Commerce, and technology.
“2012 was a pivotal year for Cloudmeter,” said Michael Dickey, Founder and CEO of Cloudmeter. “Our technology has always been based on the ability to effectively capture and make sense of the data that flows through a company’s network. But in 2012 companies became very aware of the need to feed their data warehouse, Big Data, or business intelligence solutions with high-quality data that gives valuable visibility into customer action and experience.”
Cloudmeter’s products are designed to help customers gain vital user activity information and improve their end-users’ experiences. They target cloud-based as well as datacenter and hybrid applications, and focus on providing the most relevant and effective information with ease of use and cost in mind. Pion® Enterprise is a real-time Big Data capture, processing and integration solution that helps companies maximize the value of the massive amounts of information available within their network traffic. Pion® Replay is a customer experience management product that enables companies to identify, find and replay individual website visitor sessions.
“In 2012 everyone was talking about Big Data, but those at the forefront quickly realized that their infrastructures and analytics were useless without the right data to answer critical business questions,” said Ronit Belson, vice president of marketing and business development. “Cloudmeter’s products capture much deeper data than scanning log files or tags can provide, can be simply and easily implemented, and are seamlessly integrated into a number of leading back-end analytics solutions.”
Earlier in the year Cloudmeter announced Series A funding and changed its name from Atomic Labs to Cloudmeter to better reflect its ability to capture data that passes through a company’s network, whether their web applications reside in-house or in the cloud.
In 2012, we announced new integrations with Hadoop and with OpinionLab’s feedback anytime, anywhere Omnichannel Voice of Customer solution, as well as a partnership with Semphonic, all of which extend Cloudmeter customers’ ability to leverage the massive amounts of data available through their networks.
